How/Where do I change my password?
Answer:Your password is given to you in the "Welcome To Daily Spanish Phrases-Subscription Complete" email, which you receive when you subscribe. To change this password to a personal one, you must first be logged in with the original password. Once you are logged in, go to "My Account" and then to "My Details". Until you change it to a personal one, you will have to keep the original password (write it down) or ask us to send you a new one in case you’ve misplaced it.
What kind of Spanish will I learn?
Answer:Since we are based in Spain all phrases, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and expressions are based on Castilian Spanish. Castilian Spanish (spoken in Spain) is considered the most universal and effective way to speak Spanish anywhere in the world.
How will I receive my phrases?
Answer:ONLY VIA EMAIL. The first lesson will be sent to your email inbox as soon as your payment has been authorized. You will receive your lessons daily unless you have specified to receive them every 2 days. Make sure you check your bulk/spam/junk folder as they may appear there for the first time. Please add our email address, claudia@dailyspanishphrases.com to your address book in order to have them go directly to the correct email inbox.
How do I change the frequency or interrupt my lessons?
Answer:Once you are logged in, you will need to go to "My Account" then to "Manage Subscriptions" where you can change the frequency and status of your lessons.
How will my phrases be displayed?
Answer:IN A WEB BROWSER: Your phrases will be displayed just as seen in the samples when viewing your lessons via a modern web browser (i.e. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5+, Mozilla Firefox, Opera 7+, Netscape 7+, Safari). This is the best way to fully experience each lesson.

IN AN EMAIL PROGRAM: Our lessons have been optimized to display as closely as possible as if viewing the lessons in a web browser. However while viewing your lessons in a desktop program such as MS Outlook or a web based email program such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc., you won't be able to hear sounds, complete the exercise or play the game, due to these email program limitations. But, by simply clicking any link in your email lessons you will be connected to the Internet to get the full experience of each lesson's audio file, practice exercises and vocabulary games.
Can I take the course using a Mac or is it just for PC's?
Answer:YES. All of our lessons, audio files, exercises, and games have been tested to work with Macintosh and PC computers.
Do I need special hardware in order to take the course?
Answer:NO. Any computer with sound card and speakers, in order for you to listen to the audio files, and a basic Internet connection will work perfectly.
Do I need special software in order to take the course?
Answer:NO. Our daily Spanish phrases, audio files, exercises, and games have been optimized to take advantage of the most basic elements of modern web browsers (i.e. MS Internet Explorer 5.5+, Mozilla Firefox, Opera 7+ or Netscape 7+) with Javascript enabled and Macromedia Flash (which is installed in 95% of computers that use the Internet). To hear the audio files you must have the Macromedia Flash Player Version 7 or above installed. You can automatically install the latest Macromedia Flash player by clicking here. Remember, To get the full experience you must be connected to the Internet.
Must I be connected to the Internet in order to study the course?
Answer:NO. You can review each lesson in your email program, however, in order to receive new lessons or to get the full experience of each audio file, the practice exercises or play vocabulary games you must be connected to the Internet and view the lesson in your web browser.
Can I print the phrases?
Answer:YES. If it is more convenient for you to practice the phrases on printed paper rather than on your computer monitor, then this option is definitely available to you.
How long do I have access to the phrases once I purchase them?
Answer:Once you've subscribed to a level, you have unlimited access to the phrases in that level.
Will I learn how to conjugate verbs?
Answer:YES. Two verbs among the 15 phrases, within each of the 40 lessons, will be conjugated, translated and come with audio. Each verb will help you familiarize yourself with its proper grammar usage in different situations and tenses. For more examples go to grammar section.
Do I have games and exercises to practice with?
Answer:YES. At the end of every 15-phrase session there is an exercise and a game to help you practice what you have just studied. Simply go to the game or exercise and get ready to have fun while you continue to learn! If you are successful in the game you will receive an applause!
Will there be audio to help me pronounce the words?
Answer:YES. All phrases and conjugated verbs come with audio because we feel it is important for you to learn how to pronounce all Spanish words correctly.
Can I listen to the audio files more than once?
Answer:YES. You can listen to all audio files as many times as you like. Just open the topic of your choice and click on the audio icon to hear the phrases. Remember, you must be connected to the Internet to hear the sound.
Is 30 minutes enough time to spend on each lesson?
Answer:YES. In our experience 30 minutes a day is a fantastic beginning to mastering Spanish. Obviously, if you can dedicate more time to each lesson you will get more from it. The key to successful learning of any language is to practice, practice, and practice. You will receive tons of practice over the course of each level. The time that you need to learn Spanish depends also on how fast you study and on how well you memorise.
Can I subscribe a family member, friend, or employee to the course?
Answer:YES. Just fill-in their name and email address in the appropriate fields of the subscription form and they will receive the course. Please be sure to tell them that you have sent them the course so that the email lessons will not get deleted.
Can I take more than one level at a time?
Answer:YES. You can subscribe to different levels at the same time but you will need more time to study.
Are the topics interesting and practical for the real world?
Answer:YES. All topics have been chosen to be as practical as possible for a person that would like to learn the general aspects of any language. The phrases have been designed to generate interest in each topic and to promote their use in day to day life.
How many topics are in each course?
Answer:There are 40 topics in each level. That is 40 days of 15 phrases each day, 600 phrases in total. Total course has 2,400 phrases.
What is the method of payment?
Answer:You can make your course payment either directly with your credit card or through any PayPal Account. If you don't have a PayPal Account, but feel safer in making your payment this way, signing up is very easy. Just visit their website http://www.paypal.com/ and follow the simple steps to set-up the account. Our PayPal system will allow you to pay for your subscription in your own currency (Pound Sterling, Euros, Dollars, etc.)
What if I am not satisfied with the course?
Answer:If you're not satisfied with our method of studying and are not thoroughly convinced this course will help you communicate in Spanish easily and quickly, simply send us an email before the 10th lesson. We will cheerfully refund your money -- no questions asked.
How do I unsubscribe?
Answer:Click on the link at the bottom of the lesson which comes to you by email. The message at the bottom says: "You are receiving this email because you subscribed to Daily Spanish Phrases as xxxx@xxxxx.com. If you wish to unsubscribe and therefore no longer receive emails from us, please click here."
Can you help me with text translations?
Answer:YES. We will give you a quote depending on the amount of text there is to be translated.
